it's not like everyone can afford to commission artists, can recruit artists for their projects or is good at art.

Itโs because it takes away artists can get to receive commissions and do art for people. AI art is also just a muddled collage of art taken off of the internet without the permission of the original creators. Itโs a complete and blatant disrespect for artists and is inherently unethical.
Not everyone can afford to buy commissions sadly. I think AI art is a good temporary solution in this cases, there already are plenty of text only games out there and I'd rather have generated art than no art at all. There will always be people willing to pay artists for original high quality art, a few individuals generating art do not take away that many people from them.
ask for permission from artists to use their stuff, or colour stuff from bases. hell, make friends with the community and ask them to gift you art. no excuse for theft and plagiarism.
good thing that nothing was stolen from artists then, since the art was generated. AI art is a thing, as the time passes it will only get better and more popular. deal with it and stop whining.
Also, if you think you can just go around the community and ask for free art it means you don't engage with the community at all.
How do you think AI works? Robots can just pull stuff out of nowhere....they have to learn and they learn by getting art online...

not entirely sure what it is, but for some reason im not able to play on the site or download to play. anyone know how to remedy this?
edit: it tells me that there are no valid storage adapters when i try to play on the website
which browser are you using? itch has issues with some browsers.
also, if you are on iphone there is an overflow glitch that causes crashes atm
if on pc try firefox or opera, they seem to work well for me

The story is really great so far! It's making me horny each time I re-read it. But there's one thing - may I ask you to remove "signatures" in the corners of arts? They're kinda ruining the vibe. For that you can use inpaint function with high denoising/prompt strength in your AI art generation app, or use "Remove unwanted object" app which is free to download.

what if it was toggleable? so if you wanted art before they could get paid art and stuff, you could choose to enable the ai stuff, that would enable art for those who want it, but also allow you to ignore it if you want until proper art is made
I guess that's alright... but using AI art is really bad for the community ๐ Artists are already struggling
the creator said (referring to getting art done) " it's not possible from a financial perspective for me. Hopefully some day" so it isn't a permanant thing probably
it's not like text only games do poorly if the writing is good :/ we have imaginations for a reason.. I genuinely would prefer no art to ai art there are so many other ways around not having the funding to afford a designated artist or artists and this is certainly the worst of the ideas; it's equivalent to just stealing someone else's art

I actually agree with what you said about the font, I've written it down as something to change soon. It'll probably just be one ending for now, this is my first time creating a VN or attempting story-writing so I want to keep it simple. I'm unsure how the story will conclude but I doubt every single day of the month will be included. Your English is great btw :)
